Winning in dominant fashion and running the fastest time in the section, the boys 4x800m comprised of Sean Henretta, Sam Schraver, Ben Buckeley and Nate Markle are the Section V Champions in a time of 8:05.14. Congrats!
In only her second attempt at the distance Junior Sinead Sargeant runs a school record 2:59.51 in the 1000m. Her efforts placed her second at sectionals, behind only Sammy Watson of Rush-Henrietta who is a multiple high school national record holder. Awesome job Sinead!
Winning by nearly a 3 second margin the Girls 4x200m Relay consisting of Taylor Atkins-Lewis, Emily Fish, Claire Myers and Sinead Sargeant ran the third fastest time in the second with a 1:49.69. Their time was just short of the school record of 1:48.4 set in 1995. Great job ladies!
